Second Annual Spirit of AIR Award HonorAIRy - Katie Wheeler
We are pleased to announce Katie Wheeler, a former NH State Senator and dedicated lover of the arts, as this year’s Spirit of AIR Award Recipient.
Deeply involved in our local arts community, Katie serves on the Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra Advisory Board and the Strawbery Banke National Council. She is the NHPBS Board Vice Chair and is the founder of the NHPBS Spring Auction. Katie is a long-time member of the Community Church of Durham Chancel Choir. In 1974, Katie founded the Rejoice Choir at the Community Church of Durham for children between the ages of 3-9, which she directed for 15 years. A long-time supporter of Arts In Reach, Katie generously hosts an annual holiday party benefitting AIR and serves on the AIR Advisory Panel.
